I was given this watch as a gift and it was absolutely perfect in all aspects, from the “tone” of the gold, face, size, etc. To elaborate on the tone of the gold, it’s not gaudy in the slightest. I’m more partial to platinum and silver tone accessories, but since I bought a pair of Oliver Peoples sunglasses that have a touch of gold accents on them, I knew this watch and my sunglasses would be a match made in heaven. I was right.
The description for the MK 5160 states that it’s a mid-sized watch. I beg to differ…but then again, I’m a petite person and have TINY wrists so I consider this watch to be on the “larger” side. It’s NOT dainty by any means and honestly, I would NOT want it to be any larger, especially due to the gold tone. There are boundaries when it comes to gold and it’s very easy for it to look cheesy, so it’s best to keep other accessories to a minimum and allow this watch to speak for itself. By the way, just took a ruler to my watch because I was curious myself, and the face is 1.49 inches across, so your idea and my perception of size may differ greatly.

The date just (using Rolex verbiage) for this watch became more convenient than I had anticipated. I’m notorious for never knowing the date so the date just feature actually saves me time from digging through my purse, looking for my cell phone, and you know the rest!

Heavy male watch… my description!
This is the worst watch I have ever put my hands on for a women. The picture is wrong, it is not “bright”, it is a male dark gold watch that weights a lot for a small/mid sized women to wear. I returned it seconds after I opened the box.
By the way, Mr. Watch is a great seller, refunded me very quickly and I will certainly buy from again, but taking care not to trust the web-site pictures before.
